We know you guys like to talk about movies.
We like movies, too.
So - please don't ruin the movie for those who might not have seen it.
If plot spoilers are integral to the discussion, make sure you have "PLOT SPOILERS" in the title of the thread. Otherwise, don't do it. Just don't.

Both these bozos are lying...
She was GANG raped by the winged monkeys!
Driven mad, she took the place of the Wicked Witch of the West, sucked oil from the Tin Man, got high on the Scaregrow's grass, and handed government control of Oz to the NRA!
Most people don't realize this movie originally had an R-Rating.

Huh?
Over at the OTHER PLACE we discussed movies and those of us who had the courtesy to clearly mark the posts SPOILER ALERT were whipped liked whimpering dogs (get it? get it?)
I'll abide by the house rules of course cause I'm such a ass kiss- I mean - such an accomodating fellow but as far as I'm concerned anyone who reads a review or a discussion of a movie they haven't seen deserves what they get.

I have to admit it, when I buy a book, I read the last page first. Really. I don't remember it, so, when I do get to that page, it's still a surprise. I just enjoy that déjà vu-esque frisson of 'Oh..yeeeah, that's what that meant'.
Does that make me a bad person?
Ezra does have a point, of course. It's conversation, in writing. We do the best we can. Sometimes we should be careful what we say, sometimes when people see where the talk is headed, they should leave if they're easily offended.
Dear god, I'm accepting of all sides. I'm turning into Steve Barber. (love
ya, buhbie!)

Holy . . . !
Wow.
I so totally do not get the point of reading the last page first. I usually skip introductions to classic fiction, too.

War is, at first, the hope that one will be better off; next, the expectation that the other fellow will be worse off; then, the satisfaction that he isn't any better off; and, finally, the surprise at everyone's being worse off. - Karl Kraus
Yep read the introductions LAST.
All they are mostly are somebody else's impression about how you ought to react to the book if you're a smart hipster like they are and were groovy enough to be asked to write the intro in the first place.
