Danger Mouse has a new group called Rome. This is obviously his tribute for Ennio Morricone, beyond the fact that the disk is not as subversive as vintage Morricone.

When I started this thread it was to complement Jan's more Eurocentric music thread. Now that Jan no longer actively participates I started the "whatcha listening to now?" thread to complement the "whatcha reading?" and "whatcha watching?" threads. Until Duane made his recent post this thread had pretty much faded out of use.

I will bow to the will of the majority but until there is some alternative consensus I will post future music comments under "Whatcha listening to now?" since no one really cares about the country of origin, or any concept of wholesomeness, ironic or otherwise.

Music affects the entire physiology of a human being, glands inlcuded. Emotions are produced by the body and the "soul" is a metaphor.
