Jim Marshall is dead. The inventor of the marshall amp. Where would metal be without that perfect, earth shattering, blessed cabinet system. One fifty watt head rocks you like nothing else.

Rest in peace sir. May your ears stop ringing.

Steve Evil, did you hear that Slayer has a red wine on sale? I'm not kidding. Beats sangria.

I did indeed know that. Funny, they never struck me as wine types. I would have thought Tequila more their style, and left the Red wine to the symphonic black Metal types. . .

I don't think wine is the potion of choice here. Slayer whimpers like little girls...

Those eyes. Like she's been staring into the dark so long she's seen what's really there.

I'm in love.

Snap out of it Ezra! You know what a drag she'd be at the dinner table?

It's too late. She comes to me in my dreams. She sings to me in my dreams.

I wish I liked metal music. I really wished I liked metal music. Then I could have intelligent conversations about with you guys. My brother in law loves it. I heard the song Voodoo by Godsmacked a couple weeks ago. I really liked that. Does that count? Yes I get silly when I get up at two oclock in the morning and roam the Web till 600. No panic attack though. I had a serious of hissy fits at people yesterday which whipped the panic on out of me. And I owe some apologies today. Oh well. DB

Diane, I seriously believe there is a Metal song for everyone. The trouble is, it's impossible to predict what it is. People contain multitudes.

Godsmack count. They're not really what us purists would call "Metal", but they've got their foot in the genre, and they're about as close to "Metal" as the mainstreme gets nowadays, so they count.

Distraction is called for when the panic comes. Come and unload here. Talk nonsense if you must, but keep typing. Just possibly, it might get your mind off whatever it was the set off the panic.

How about this: tell us what you do listen to and we'll see if we can find your Heavy Metal Trojan Horse. If we can't, it still might you you some brownie points with your brother in law. . .

Diane, I'm going to give you a refresher course in headbanging glory. Start you out with lyrical songs, nothing too crazy.

Start out with Riot's classic, Swords and Tequila:

Iron Maiden's Children of the Damned:

Ratt, all the ladies dig Ratt:

Shake that hair girl, with Tesla. No laughing Steve Evil:

Ozzy, we all love Ozzy:

Accept, because, they rock.

DIO, aww:

Metal can be funny. Scatterbrain:

Queensryche for the queen:

My black brothers can rock as well:
