Hello to all

Postby CEC » Sat Nov 05, 2005 4:54 pm

I have posted a few times but I work so many hours that I really only get to lurk around.
I am an Agriculture Specialist who was snatched from the USDA, and dumped into Customs. All part of the "One Face at the Border" knee jerk nonsense of the current administration.
I follow along with the threads while at work, during our downtime, but cannot post from that computer.
Since I had a day off, I thought I would finally register on the board.

Welcome! Things can be a little crazy around here, but unlike your employer (and my former employer), you won't be treated like a machine part around here.

Hope you'll be kind enough to add to the gestalt!

A new voice is always most welcome. Let us know about which Ellisons inspired you, as well as other tastes and pursuits.
War is, at first, the hope that one will be better off; next, the expectation that the other fellow will be worse off; then, the satisfaction that he isn't any better off; and, finally, the surprise at everyone's being worse off. - Karl Kraus
