The Dude abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners. Shoosh. I sure hope he makes the finals.

Well my sister got her benefits back. Things are a lot better over there now. One less thing for me to worry about. Hey, I didn't want to write about their dire situation and not post the good news.

Up next: I should have a new(er) car in a week or two. Now, if the Old Bucket will hold out during that time.

Neil Armstrong dying isn't good news but it does show that America once did things ok.

But, yeah. When my niece asked What we wanted her daughter to call us, I said " Dude". Uncle Dude.

It just seems right.

Dude

You are a part of the Universal Dude, just like Gwynnie and I and everyone on the planet is. Not only does the Dude abide, but in his own strange way f showing up in each of us when most needed. Ever become calm when the rest of your world seems caught up in a serious shit storm? That's you inner Dude showing.

I have to smoke a lot of weed to get mine to show, be glad you don't

Diane

You should know that I am an officially ordained Dudist minister, but only in my first year of ministary. Matter of fact what I said to Barber could be considered my first act of ministerial counselling.

And posting this could be my first act of outreach.... This is one of the most beautiful pieces of Street Art I've seen...

The Dude has his own book in the Bible!

Actually that's just a bit of Anti Dudeist propaganda hon. Dudeism has has a few suggestions in it, never any rules. And not as many as that book in the bible would have you to believe!!!!

Is that a proposal to Lori, Church? Cause she needs a big ole ring if it is.

The play I was in is over. It went very well over the weekend and there was a good turnout. I enjoyed being Mrs. Dubose in "To Kill a Mockingbird", and my fellow cast members were awesome. And the director, my friend from school was awesome too. We had a pizza party after, and that was fun. And my BFF came to see me, and we had coffee after. It is always good to see her.
