If these spirals have happened before, keep in mind that they have also subsided before.

This one will as well.

Lori: what Steve said. I've had my spirals, though nowhere near as severe as yours, at least not for quite a while. Don't lose touch. We're here.

Lori having never experienced clinical depression I have no advice to give you whatsoever. But as other folks have already said, just remember.

You're not alone.

OK, I can't really think of a good place to put this, but I it out there...

Steve Barber, Thank you for letting me "steal" that picture of Harlan and me. You'll never realize how much it has come to mean to me. Besides being my FB avatar and tablet's wallpaper it is a great reminder of the fact that I can and will have grand and glorious days if I just make sure to get through the shitty ones no matter how often they show up.

That is a great gift, and I am ever so thankful for it.

Lori, just never forget that life is a gift. We never really know how long we will keep that gift.

Very sorry to hear that, but glad you're back. Feel free to share, or not. Again, just welcome back.

Rick, glad to see you back! We missed you in the poetry forum. The feelings abate with the medication, I can attest to that. I crashed back at the end of July, had to stop drinking altogether this time, plus go back on serious meds again. My weed intake has increased proportionally!

Anyway, glad to see you back, old shoe! Take care of yourself...

Tim

Nice to see you back, Rick. I know how it feels when life eats you whole and craps you off a cliff. I hope things are better.

Fuck this depression shit. Can't it realize that when a friend is in hospital it's not a good time to come for a visit?

And now as an atheist, got not one being to blame it on!
