Happy New Year, Everyone!
Twenty Eleven has got to be better. In this I'm confident.

Cheers, Motherfuckers! Nostrovya!

2011.

11 is a lucky number, or so I'm told.

That settles it.

Glad that there is but one year left of this shit!
From past History, it seems that we are entering a New Dark Ages.
This one will probably be worse from the rest, because we, as a civilization, have a long way to fall.
All throughout history, societies seem to falter within the first 20 or so years of a millennium.
From all indications of current affairs, it's happening again!

Happy New Year.

May it be a damned sight better than the last one.

p.s. just got done driving back from Orlando, FL to Philadelphia, PA. 16 hours in the minivan with the wife and 2 ADHD kids with special needs. THIS is how I start the year, and it's better than last already.

Sorry guys. If memory serves, the 2012 apocalypse doesn't happen until December of that year.

Nearly two years left. Or, more accurately, 350-ish shopping days...

My resolution is that Israel will see how suicidal they are and that they will change course.

Hey Tim

Can I sue you if my 2011 turns out to be even worse than my 2010?

Goodbye 2010. Don't let the screen door hit ya where nature (or the good lord) split ya.

Well crap I guess I shouldn't have emptied my bank account, bought myself a white robe and gave all the rest of the money to the Hare Krishnas.

Well, if it's any consolation, these guys have decided upon May 21st, 2011 for the Rapture.

Fortunately, this means those of us not raptured will have better shots at dinner and airline reservations.

Gimme a break Barber!
Those guys have been forcasting the rapture for a hundred years, and it hasn't come yet!
I wish it would come already, so those folks can get ruptured, I mean raptured already. Then they wouldn't be an inhibition to society's progress.

The Rapture? Again? Didn't this just not happen last year? On six different dates, depending on who we were asking?

I mean, I found a dirty pair of empty Chucks in a park in DC the day after one of the days it was supposed to happen - what if they held the rapture and only one guy rapped? Would we even know?

One of the most famous in history was by the Baptist leader William Miller, who predicted the end for Oct. 22, 1844, which came to be known as the Great Disappointment among his followers

As did, one suspects, William Miller.

Yesireebob those are MY people! Not some pagan hoodoo but good old kickass Holy Ghost Repent or Burn in Hell!

I've heard the airlines are making sure that either the pilot or the copilot on every flight is not a Christian so that if the Rapture comes they'll be someone left to fly the plane.
