Well then . . . raise a little hell yourself!

We need to get the Pale One out of the headlines.
War is, at first, the hope that one will be better off; next, the expectation that the other fellow will be worse off; then, the satisfaction that he isn't any better off; and, finally, the surprise at everyone's being worse off. - Karl Kraus

Be sure to take in the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! museum and the Hollywood wax museum. Great examples of Hollywood kitsch. I believe they're right across the street from each other, too.

We have Ripley's in Key West. if you've seen one mummified witches tit, you've seen them all.

Key West has ugly Beaches. I could see Cuba from my house. i like Hollywood, because it reminds me of Miami Beach when everyone spoke English. I'm going to find a link. Be right back.

Neon -
Love Key West -- though haven't been there for a couple of years lately. (Last time was a wedding on the only friggin' beach IN KW.)

While you're in town, might we suggest a hot dog or two at Pink's, and a French Dip at Philippe's?
- I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

Each Ripley's has site specfic stuff. So you should end up seeing different stuff. No two have the same displays.

I remember Hollywood. I'm not usually one for that kind of thing, but I gotta say I was dazzled. Seeing all those bright lights and the big letters in the hills, the elephant statues and Groucho's star in the sidewalk, in that balmy weather. . .I lost my head!

Me too. This place is intoxicating. I wonder that it's real. Not the Tinsel town I was expecting. Yet somehow, there's this nagging doubt. That I shouldn't have come. And why not? It's a place like any other. The job scene is horrible. I wasn't expecting that.

I think I can speak for all the hetero men on this BB when I say that as males we never quite lose our capacity to be surprised. :)

Neon sounds like you're on the cusp of...adventure.

I need to find the adventure. I'm trying to write an article for the LAWeekly. Oddly enough they have a piece on atheism. How appropos! Could that be OUR HARLAN? Are things being put in place? You know. This is getting exciting!
