Alex and Vicki get married...

Postby JaySmith » Sat Aug 29, 2009 6:46 am

I can't be at the wedding today, but I wanted to light a candle here at this old watering hole.

Wishing them both the greatest happiness...

Life is a search for something greater;
and endless aching need to be part of something more than one's self
After many years, we have found exactly what it is we were meant for.

Vicki Lynn Bates
and
Alex Jay Berman

join their lives together in the happy partnership of marriage

Saturday, August the twenty-ninth
two thousand and nine
at two in the afternoon

A very hearty "CONGRATULATIONS" to the lovely couple.

And hopefully we may see his likeness back amongst us once the nuptials are over...
- I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

I keep telling these mooks, marriage is the gravekeeper shooing away the flies.

Oh, yay!

Speaking as someone who is, in fact married to a woman (who, for the sake of argument, we'll call my "wife") I recommend marriage highly.

Good luck.

Klein, I'm glad you got that all straight in your head.

Much love to the lovely couple. Too bad Jay gave up on our brood. These lurkers make me feel like the gal who was caught in the shower in Psycho.

Throwin around flowers. God Bless.

And they didn't take the time to announce it here? For shame! Where are their priorities.

Best wishes for a long and happy life in unison.

Having just celebrated my 16th wedding anniversary on Thursday, I have to say when it works, it's a wonderful thing.
War is, at first, the hope that one will be better off; next, the expectation that the other fellow will be worse off; then, the satisfaction that he isn't any better off; and, finally, the surprise at everyone's being worse off. - Karl Kraus

I may be a little late, but Mazel tov to Alex & Vicki

Governments, if they endure, always tend increasingly toward aristrocratic forms. No gov't in history has been known to evade this pattern. And as the aristocracy develops, gov't tends more and mroe to act exclusively in the interests of the ruling class
