A couple of forums did not have the delete function available to registered users. I made them all the same now.

Someone please make sure they cannot delete their own posts in a thread once the post has been replied to. FYI, someone else viewing a post does not lock it from being deleted.

I may also upgrade to the latest version of php soon, although it is likely to be a huge pain in the ass. however, the new version has a time limit option on editing posts.

Didn't know you had responded to my whining, thanks! I understand perfectly your reasons for the locked-out edit function. I know a few inter-nerds here and there (I'm not one of course, heavens no and perish forbid) and I will ask around to see what anyone knows about the time limit in php.
