Battlestar Galactica auction

Postby reddragon70 » Sun Jan 04, 2009 9:44 am

Found this and thought some of you may be interested.

http://www.battlestarprops.com/

Personally I would give vital organs to own a small piece of this great series but my finances would never stretch to it and the wife would skin me alive if I did buy anything. However I will have to follow it.... Cos I would love to have just something... Like a coin or something, anything.

Hopefully some of you will be in a position or disposition to bid on someof the stuff available. Then you can lord it over me with your BSG props ;)

Aw crap.

With the title, I thought they were going to auction the Battlestar itself, kind of like they do with used Navy ships.

*sigh*

There for a moment...the world would've been mine!!!

- I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

I was surprised they don't sell old carriers. I can see some scumbag like Trump wanting one.

They are actually auctioning the Galactica... or rather the model of the ship used on the CIC strategic planning table.

Ok so its not a fully working order Battlestar but hey... its better than nothing. And you can show your friends the DVD and then show them the model....

I know it sounds pathetic, but I would totally bid on it if they had Count Iblis' costume up for sale....
Governments, if they endure, always tend increasingly toward aristrocratic forms. No gov't in history has been known to evade this pattern. And as the aristocracy develops, gov't tends more and mroe to act exclusively in the interests of the ruling class

When i was in Tempe, AZ for HE's Grand Master induction, they had an auction and I came away with two sweet Outer Limits doll/figurines, still in the box, untouched/unplayed with, for less than forty bucks.

Mike Jacka was there, but i don't think he bid on them. No reason to say that, just an ignominious name-dropping.
