Can't even aim his finger in his nose right.

What a marooon.

Say, Frank: have you seen this nifty passage from Garrison Keillor?

=> Having been called names, one looks back at one's own angry outbursts over the years, and I recall having once referred to Republicans as "hairy-backed swamp developers, fundamentalist bullies, freelance racists, hobby cops, sweatshop tycoons, line jumpers, marsupial moms and aluminum-siding salesmen, misanthropic frat boys, ninja dittoheads, shrieking midgets, tax cheats, cheese merchants, cat stranglers, pill pushers, nihilists in golf pants, backed-up Baptists, the grand pooh-bahs of Percodan, mouth breathers, testosterone junkies and brownshirts in pinstripes." I look at those words now, and "cat stranglers" seems excessive to me. The number of cat stranglers in the ranks of the Republican Party is surely low, and that reference was hurtful to Republicans and to cat owners. I feel sheepish about it.

Careful, Frank. I own the copyright on that.

Actually, Duane, I think your new avatar is very nice.

Trying to figure out who she is and I cannot place her

Actually, it was a lame attempt to be sarcastic. Frank was bragging about his new avatar and I was supposed to say something like "Yeah, nice avatar there, buddy" with MY new avatar, but like in so many areas of my life, I misfired (as it were), so don't expect it to be up for long (the avatar, that is).

They look green to me, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I have no idea who she is; in cases like this, I figure it's some television personality.

She has eyes?

Postby markabaddon » Tue May 23, 2006 12:46 pm

Duane,

I have no idea what color her eyes are, as those are not the anatomical parts that I am focused upon.

I do love redheads, which is probably why I married one.

OK, I gotta know, who is she?

She's a Harlan Ellison reader. That shot is of her standing in line at Minicon, waiting to have her much-thumbed first edition of "Sleepless Nights in the Procrustean Bed" autographed by HE.

Well, you hoped that was the case, didn't you? Actually, she's me...Rita Mincer. Told you I was hot.

It's supposed to by Winona Ryder, but now I'm not so sure.

Not Winona

Postby markabaddon » Wed May 24, 2006 1:41 pm

Duane, buddy, I gotta tell you that is not Winona Ryder. Ryder's hair is much shorter and I do not think she has ever been a redhead (her real hair color is blonde but she dyes it black).

Whoever she is, she is absolutely stunning.

Please do. She's the best looking face here
(besides mine own which I can't look at)
