The "free software" movement.

This interview, about the free software movement was pretty scary. The interviewee talks about how corporations and the government could one day patent certain aspects of computer language, to the point, where the government could stop certain things online from being read, or you could be sued, for infringing on one of the complex group of hidden patents, for computer software and operating systems. He is also trying to start a movement, where people use free software, software devoid of patents and structures that infringe on giving up personal information, and keeping snoops from knowing who the web surfer is.

Pretty scary last part, near the bottom.
