Have you ever taken a picture that people have considered Art Frank? It's not as easy as you may think. BTW, photography is the only art form to have an entire style of painting named after it. Ever hear of photo realistic paintings?

Re: THE PAVILION ANNEX

David and I live in the same city, and I'm proud to give him a ringing endorsement as both a collector of vintage cameras and an all around decent human being.

Thank you Ezra. As Mark pointed out, I'm not your typical woman. I happen to adore spiders and beetles.

Re: Running vs Bug Collecting

What about the females in this joint? We aren't supposed to like bugs or running. WTF do we get outta this? When did you ever go along with "what you're supposed to do"? I never do what I'm supposed to, but someone has to stand up for those who are too meek and mild to have their voioces ...

Re: SCIENCE VS RELIGION

Frank Show me where I've been disrespectful to You or barber. Your last post was filled to the brim with generic ideas about atheist thought systems. If Ezra or I had done that to Christians or Christianity you'd have pitched the same fit for the same reason What the hell makes you and your believe ...

Re: SCIENCE VS RELIGION

Hey Frank

Truth, beauty and whole host of other esoteric things are believed in by a lot of people who don't happen to believe in your version of god. You expect me to respect you and what you believe in,when the hell are you going to give me the same damned courtesy?

Re: THE PAVILION ANNEX

Steve I forgot one thing. Maybe the medium is the problem. There is a group of believers who bring food to my building. All of them know where I stand, and we speak our minds and move on. IMO that is the way it should be. It isn't happening here. If I'm honest about it, the only time a persons relig...

Re: THE PAVILION ANNEX

First of all, while this question was once directed a specific person it is now a general question for anyone who chooses to answer. Apparently, everything I post on the Science vs Religion thread offends another poster no matter how I approach things. Here's the question. Is it my fault for maybe n...

Re: Copyright vs Copywrong

Steve Not to muddy the waters any but a question. I am the proud owner of not a few CDs made for me by people who know my finincir situation. Where do you stand on that? Part of me says that someone paid for the original, so why should I feel torn up over it. But, a small part of me feels as if I sh...

Re: SCIENCE VS RELIGION

Jeez, for a Christian that Ben W. sure is a butthole. runz So apparently, everyone on this board has traded insults at one time or another. But according to Ezra's logic, I'm the only perpetrator who should be actively reprimanded. I guess it just doesn't make any sense to me because I'm a deluded ...

Re: Robert Nason's Culture Café

As long as we have a fear mongering government, we'll have zombies. George Ramero used them as a trope in all his zombie movies. Remember the scene where the little girl zombie used a garden trowel to eat her mother's stomach? That was a perfect metaphor for how the youth culture was changing in way...

Rap is a black art and you all are not culturally black. Enjoy the rainbow. You assume "you all" don't enjoy rap. How much of Rappers Delight can you rap? I've done my favorite hunk of that for blacks who were shocked that a white woman could do it at all. I was listening to Run DMC way b...
