UK

Name: Jes Bickham Source: unca20071007.htm Harlan - no problem whatsoever, that all sounds great. Will call Tuesday with pen and printout to hand. We missed the original slot in issue six, I'm afraid, but it will now definitely be going into issue seven, which we're about a week into - on sale, if ...

Paul - sorry, forgive my rudeness, I didn't answer your question. Issue six of Death Ray (with the Harlan interview) is on sale in the UK on September 20th; we're on sale in Borders in the US so you'll be able to pick it up soon after that I believe. I'll try and found out exactly when. I hope you e...

Hey Paul, No harm, no foul, as our gracious host might say. You'd never know, but Jes is pronounced 'Jez' not 'Jess'. (My actual Christian name is Jeremy, and for the life of me I have no idea why I came to be known as Jes or why it's spelt that way. And it's only in the last year that my parents ha...

Hi David
Great idea. I suspect - and obviously I'd have to run this past Harlan - that 'excised' parts of the interview could wind up as a piece on our (currently woefully un-updated) website, in which case I would of course post the link right here for Webderlanders' delectation.
Best,
Jes

Hey all, So. I spoke to Harlan t'other night (night for me, obviously, early AM for him) and it was great. In the end, I'm afraid I didn't get to ask any burning Webderlander questions, but I have the very generous offer of follow-ups, so we'll see how what I've got pans out. (Having just transcribe...

Hey fellas,
Cheers for the greetings - when I get some time (deadlines everywhere!) I'll definitely start an 'Islets' discussion in the S.P.I.D.E.R. thread - I'd love to hear what others think of it.
Cheers!

Hey everyone, Terrific stuff one and all, thanks! I guess I should explain a little more about the inclusion of Dangerous Visions - while not 'by' Harlan per se, it was his project as Editor and its importance in SF can't be overstated, I don't think. But there's definitely a case for including it s...
