Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

Much thanks to Ye Olde Webmaster for bringing me back into the forum. First I forgot my username, then I forgot my password, then I forgot where I parked my TARDIS, and then... Anyway, here I am with some more self-promotion. I'm putting things up on Amazon.com's Digital Text Platform, http://www.am...

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

Long time, no update, but here we go... Amazon.com has scrapped their Amazon Shorts program in favor of the Digital Text Platform, so I'm selling some short stories (all at the low, low price of $0.99) and the "Found Again" book ($3.99) there, with a few more things to add once I've gone t...

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

It's a long story, but there are those out there on the internet with nothing better to do than to torture me, and I don't want to find it... that's why there's the break. One good Google search and they'd sniff me out pretty quick.

New webpage!

Geocities closed down so I took up residence on Wix.com. Celebrity photos, stand-up comedy, etc. Visitors are welcomed.

Re: THE PAVILION ANNEX

To go back to a discussion about the swastika in Native American art... here's a photo from the front of the 1929 "Indian" Yearbook from Anderson High School, Anderson, Indiana (it is facing the wrong way to be a Nazi swastika--maybe that's the original direction that this Native American ...

Still blogging... sorry that it's the only thing I can do to repay the kindness, attention and assistance that several of you have given me over the past couple of months!

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

Hey, you figured this forum out--can't be a slow-poke to do that!

"Found Again" is actually "Featured" today (Saturday 7/11) on the front page, or just type "Found Again" into the search box.

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

Honestly, I kinda doubt my overall skills with the written word inasmuch as making incest stories palatable.

I took off, then replaced, "Found Again" on Scribd. So at least I can say it's done and pushed out into the world. For whatever that's worth.

Re:

Did you guys have any parents or grandparents that took part in a war? Well, my father's parents both died before he was ten so that'd be a "no" on the paternal side. My father was too young for WWII, but got drafted for two years during Korea (never went to Korea, just stayed in the Stat...

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

A brother doing his twin sister... sorry, but that's going beyond even what might be termed "accepted" taboos.

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

All I know is that Scribd offers an outlet and a way to be paid. Kindle is doing the same thing now as well. iUniverse, where I self-published my books, gives a higher-than-average cut of royalties... but it's still gawdawful pitiful. I make maybe $15-20 per quarter. But since nobody wanted to accep...

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

Having gone through my book again, I decided the 56,000+ novel wouldn't be worth the Herculean effort that it takes to get something published these days. So I took the easy route and put it up for sale on Scribd. http://www.scribd.com/share/upload/12800389/2lcylv1pebuf8i097syx Taking out the taboo ...

Re: Semi-Writer Saying Hello

I had to cut the sex scene scene. It just won't flly. It WAS integral to the development of the characters' relationship--the sex was kind of the ultimate union (physically and emotionally) between these two previously warring characters--but the taboo is just not something that's gonna go over with...

End of May

Freshly returned from the funeral--I got an earlier flight out of Detroit direct to LAX, rather than one that would've taken me to San Francisco around midnight, then left me a half-hour to switch terminals, go through security AGAIN, and get to my gate.
